  1. Hi this is an exciting site – I’m a movie freak and liked the list of movies posted in your page. And I really liked ‘Source Code’ an excellent movie which holds the audience hold tight to their seat. Also from my side I believe there are some movies which you can add up to ’12 Monkeys’, ‘Interstellar’ , etc. I love time travel movies which again i bet fall under Sci-Fi. Thanks for this ti reminded me of some classics back to my old days. Keep well and keep writing mate.

  2. I think this is a great list! I noticed that you had Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 . What sets it apart as a Sci Fantasy than the rest of the series.

I never knew how many Sci Fantasy shows and movie I watched. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is a childhood favorite. I still remember Xena swinging her circular boomerang. Who could forget the 5th of November with V for Vendetta. Both the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit series are amazing! Once Upon a Time used to be my favorite show to watch, sadly I drifted away from it.

So many fond memories. Thank you for reminding me of them!

    1. Hi Michelle,

In my opinion The Deadly Hollows Part 2 was the best part of Harry Potter story and therefore a must watch in my opinion. The previous films were not as good but I believe by now most people have seen them or read the books. If I have to be honest I would recommend to read the books instead of watching the first movies. And when you reach the Deadly Hollows story watch the movie. It’s what I did and I don’t regret it. I still went to see all films in proper order afterwards (to be honest) but I did not like it. There is some magic in reading the story that is very different from watching it.
Thank you so much for stopping by!

  3. Do you have any particular favorites you’d recommend to someone that is relatively new to the genre? I don’t really like movies with a lot of gore or blood in them if that helps you make recommendations!

    1. Hi Craig,

How about we start with some comedy? I recommend “Who framed Roger Rabbit?” I also recommend E.T ( a family drama film) and WALL-E (a CGI film with a great message). May I ask what your gore limit is? I have a few more in mind but they have some fight scenes in them. The Fifth Element is a action comedy sci-fi fantasy. It has some fight scenes but the comedy (and outrageous costumes) will keep you distracted.

  4. There was rumors that Misfits will have a movie. I just hated that Nathan left show. Do you think will there be a Misfits movie in future?
And I think I will watch Pan’s Labyrinth. I heard so much about it.

    1. Hi Furkan,

I believe that is what all of us fans would like but I don’t know. I think if there was a possibility they would have already work on it. Misfits is from the UK and there things are different. I mean they have Doctor Who since 1963 so I’m still hopeful.

  5. LOL I’m such a geek, I’ve seen nearly all the movies and some of the TV shows. I’d add Person of Interest, and Outlander to the television list, both are excellent.

  6. Hi, Dira!
What a wonderful site and a great list of movies. I love sci-fi and fantasy. I watched many movies you listed here. For example, I watched Star Trek (2009) and Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens (2015), and I loved both of them.
These sub-genres are interesting, and soon I am going to watch one of the movies you listed.

    Thank you for this article!

    1. Hi Linda,
